Once again Oxford is hosting an OpenCon satellite event, 1.30-4.30pm on Friday 30th November 2018 at the Weston Library, jointly organised by Crossref, the Bodleian Libraries and the Centre for Digital Scholarship and, of course, OpenCon.
This is the 4th Oxford event and it promises an afternoon of talks from great speakers who are all doing interesting work in the open space. Confirmed speakers: Crossref’s own Geoffrey Bilder, Dimity Flanagan from the British Library, Lisa Lodwick from All Souls College (talking about OA and archaeology), and more to be confirmed. Oxford researchers and others are most welcome to get involved.
There’ll be plenty of time for questions and discussion. Coffee and tea will be provided.
Visit the OpenCon Oxford site for full programme and registration.
OpenCon is a collaboration bringing together leading student and early career academic professionals from around the world to empower the next generation in advancing Open Access, Open Data and Open Education.
